会話の試験と口頭試験

Today was pretty awesome if you asked me! I was a little worried this morning because I had a group conversation test and also had an appointment with one of my sensei ( or so I thought) at 5pm after class.
So when class started I was surprised that we had a sub today but he was a great sensei and maybe in the future when I make it to level 7 of Japanese he will be my sensei ^^. So after sensei did role call we were already getting put in are groups and told we had 20 mins to come up with a script from the pictures we were given randomly.

My group had a picture of a girl talking on the phone with her bf that was at work very busy and his coworker don't look very pleased that he is on the phone instead of working like the rest of them.... I know I'm putting a lot of detail in to this lol but that what I thought when I looked at the pictures.
After the 20 minutes were up, it was time to do the group conversation in Japanese. I was so nervous and worried I was not going to remember my lines but I told myself I wouldn't let me self or my group down. We ended up going first since we lost jankenpon AGAIN lol (it’s like rock, paper scissors). The reason I said again is because the group I was in yesterday lost because of me lol and we had to go first as an example of what to expect tomorrow *sign* I did horrible yesterday because I didn't know what to say or do lol but today I think I did pretty great and I hope my group gets a good grade.

After school I said bye to my friends and went to the main building for my Japanese oral exam.  I thought I was going to be talking to one of my teachers but oooooooooh was I wrong. I didn’t even know who the women was but I had a feeling she was a level 7 teacher because she spoke so fast lol but I think I did well! I was able to understand everything she said and before I new it we was talking about shopping. ^^ 1 topic I’m really good at talking about in Japanese lol.
I feel my weakness in Japanese is that I don’t know enough vocab >_<. When ever she would ask my a question sometimes I wasn’t able to respond the way I wanted to so it was kind of heard getting what I wanted to say out. At first I thought my hearing was my weakness because whenever someone would speak to me in Japanese I would always try to translate it back to English in my head and I finally realized that I shouldn’t do that, because I’m only making it harder on myself and that wont help me get to my goal in becoming fluent in Japanese and one day able to go to uni over here.
Since I stopped that I now can understand about 80% what someone is saying to me in JapaneseJ and since I been going to kcp I now know about 100 kanji.

Well that’s all I feel like writing today. Might write about my shopping adventure in Harajuku! My most favorite shopping spot J

Japanese Fashion

I always like Japanese fashion but new since I'm actually here I LOVE IT! It just sooo cute and unique in its own way! On Sunday me and my friend Kevon went to akihabara then soon went to shibuya around 5ish. Can I say Shibuya 109 is my most favorite mall of all times! There so many different styles It's sometimes hard to choose which one your going for because everything is do darn cute ,but it can be very pricey >_<...why does it have to be sooo pricey. For example liz lisa <333333 I seriously love that store buttttt I cant afford there cute clothes....I wish I could >_< lol maybe when I return to Japan in the summer or next fall I will be able to afford the clothes because I will have a job by then and money saved up.While in Shibuya 109 I did end up buying a tones of stuff like a cute button up shirt with poka dot skirt that only cost 23$ ^^ not bad right ? then on the 7th floor I bought a case at the hello kitty store that I adore and also I bought a pear of circle lenses at men 109 when I was with my friend. I been wanting to  buy a pear for like foreverrrrrrr and finally I bought a pear for 20$ bucks ^^ I wore them today and they were pretty comfortable.^^

Some stuff I bought in Shibuya ^^

Oh yeah I also bought some stockings. They were 3 for 10$.

Good night !

The country side of Japan/ The Hakone/Yamanashi trip

Last week was incredible ! Saturday started very early for me. I had to wake up at 5:30am to get dress and to pack some over night clothes for the Hakone/Yamanashi trip. At 6:00am I met some of my friends down stairs and at 7:30 we made it to kcp to met with the other American students. We arrived at Odawara at about ... 10ish and then we went to the Odawara castle . After we left the castle I was so happy to notice we was able to see the one place I want to visit the most, Mount Fuji ! It was beautiful ! Hopefully in the future I will be able to come to Japan and climb Mount Fuji or maybe I can do well I'm still here you never know ^^.

I still can't believe it has been 2 months since I came to Japan and this amazing experience is about to come to a end:(.... I seriously don't want it to end..not yet. Anyway we also went to  hakone shrine and then to owakudani. My sensei told use if we eat there famous black eggs that you will add 7 years to your life... So I ended up buying 5 of them for about 500yen. I ate four of them and then I gave the last one to my friend. So now I have 25 years added to my life ^^.

.....Oh yeah I almost forgot that at the hakone shrine I was able to try on a kimono for the first time. It cost only 500yen to wear one of the kimonos. One of my friends told me that I looked nice in the pink kimono so I tried that one on. It was sooo pretty! It had sakura flowers on it. The ladies that were putting the kimono on me kept telling me how pretty I looked in it :).When I was wearing the kimono though I couldn't really breath in it lol and the sandles were kind of uncomfortable. But I'm happy that I got the chance to wear it. When me and some of my friends came out side with are kimonos on. Some Japanese people started to take pictures of use. I bet they never seen that many gaijins before in one place wearing traditional Japanese clothes.

Heres some pictures :)GN

P.S will post the rest of the pictures soon^^ I have over 300 :)

Hakone/Yamanashi trip

Will be posting about the Hakone/Yamanashi trip I went on last week so watch out ^_-

Kit Kat Store ^_^

Today was a pretty busy day for me. I woke up at 9am to go to the post office with one of my friends but when we got there it wasn't open yet so we decided to wait a bit,but luckily a kind Japanese man came up to use and told use that the post office wasn't open today. I have a feeling if that man never told use that the post office was closed we would have been standing out there longer then we did. He also told use other place were we could mail are packages ^_^. I shouldn't been surprised when he said lawsons. I mean come on ! Lawsons is the best! That were I even got my B.A.P ticket from ^^.

Even though Lawson take packages they don't do international :( so that kinds of sucks. So I guess I will have to wait until Monday and mail out my postcards. At 10 me and another friend of mine went to the best place ever...Korea town ^^^^^^ I love Korea town it's sooooooooooo awesome !!! I have been there about 3 times and plan on going again on Tuesday. Every time I go to Korea town I always end up buying something. I ended up buying one of B.A.P albums this time. It cost 1400 yen (14$) and it was totally worth it. So far I have Vixx, B.A.P and G-dragon CD and I have a feeling my little collection is going to increase more before I leave Japan.

I rushed back to the dorm and meet up with some other friends of mind at 1:30 and went to the kit kat store and the Tokyo sationnnnn ( I think wasn't paying attention was just following my friends lead lol) When arrived there I was pretty pumped because I been wanting to go to the kit kat store for a while now and I was sooo sad when they went with out me yesterday lol but they insured me that we was going today and we did.

The kit kats were pretty pricey. Some were 5$ and others were 8$. I ended up buying the Cheesecake and wasabi flavor and it came up to 16$. I really want to try the other weird flavors and bring them home to my family so I plan on going back before I leave.

I just tried the Wasabi kit kat a couple mins ago and it taste good but kind of weird at the same time.lol

Here is some pictures. Good night .

Went to see B.A.P in concert :)

Tonight after school me and some of my awesome friends went to go see B.A.P in concert ^_^. This was my first concert ever so I was so pumped and ready to go and plus it was Korean concert so that was even better! I started listening to B.A.P a couple months ago before I came to Japan and I soon ended up falling in love with B.A.P's music and plus all of them are freakin hot, especially Zelo , Bang yong juk and Daehyun <3.

We headed to the concert about 5:15pm  and got there about 6ish and let me tell you it was packed. There was sooo many different various of people that came to see B.A.P perform. We soon went to the booths that were selling .B.A.P glow sticks , posters, hoodies etc. I couldn't help but by a B.A.P glow stick for 3,000 yen I mean come on when your going to concert you have to buy something to remember that awesome day and since it was my first concert I definitely had to buy something!

We went in side about 6:45 and went and soon looked for are sits. When I seen the B.A.P logo on the stage I was so excited that I decided I was going to take a picture of it, buttttt the security guard told me we weren't allowed to take pictures, video etc, butttt I did anyway sneakly and also took a short video ^_-( Plan on posting that later on tomorrow)

I also notice close to the entrance that they had flowers for B.AP to welcome them to Japan and to congrats them on there first tour here. They also had a area where the fans could drop of gifts for there favorite members.I wish I new that of head of time because I would of made something for Zelo ,Bang yong juk or Daehyun <3.

Long story short I had a freakin blast!!! I'm sooo glad my first concert was B.A.P because they are sooo talented and great performers! I mean it was nice to get the chance to see them in concert in person. It was.....unbelievable .... That's all I can say to describe this day....It was unbelievable.

Well I'm going to bed. I have a accent test tomorrow and a make up test also >_< I still can't believe that it has been  2 months since I been in Japan and how in 2weeks it will be coming to a end :(((( I really don't want to leave Japan yet. there still so many things I want to do and see here in this beautiful country. Bur I already made a new year resolution for myself and that is coming back to Japan in the summer or go to Korea. I'm determined to make that happen ^_^

Good night ( will post the pictures I took on my phone tomorrow :)))) ) I promise !

プリクラ

One thing I had on my list of " Things I want do while I'm in Japan" was to take a picture in one of those cute purikura booths. I have been looking for one since sunday and I finally found one thanks to one of my classmates. Even though she spoke Japanese to me the whole time while giving me the directions. I acutally understand everything she was saying to me ( my listening skills are really starting to improve :) )

I now know they have Purikura pretty much everywhere. You usually can find them in the arcades and thats were I went today in shinjuku with my friend Kevon. I wanted to take a picture of the inside of the booth but my phone battery died. Sooooooo ^^ I took a couple pictures in the booth and they came out sooooo cute!!! Even though I was having a bad hair day and my makeup was no longer on my face thanks to how hot it was in class today or maybe it's because I have the most cheapest make up ever and it neverrrrr wants to stay on more then a hour or two. It came out very nice!

The one thing I like about purikura is how it fixs your imperfections and make you look amazing! also the cute backgrounds and stamps they have for you to decorate your pictures. The one thing I don't like is how it has a dang timer on it. I was struggling trying to type my email in to get the pictures sent to my email account but I ran out of time-__- next time I'm going to try and get them sent to my phone. I do plan on going to do Purikura again tomorrow maybe ^_^ but with more people.

Well off to bed tomorrow I have a listening test and a katakana vocab test. Wish me luck !

Earthqauke this morning.

This morning at 7:30am we had an earthquake. At the time of the earthquake I was asleep but then I ended up waking up from all the shaken movement. I was a little scared but since I been here I have been getting use to the once an a blue moon earthquakes here in Japan. I the only time I think I need to worry is when the earthquake is above 5.5 or higher. That’s what we had today (5.5).  I talked to my parents this morning and they seemed a little worried but I assured them that is wasn’t that serious.

I have soooo much to write about on here so I plan on writing more later or tomorrow when I have free time. Since I been here I’ve been very busy and plus the midterms are coming up soooo I have to study like a mad women this week. Also its very hard for me to keep up on my blog >_< but rest a shore “I WILL POST UPDATES WHEN I CAN” :^_^

Pizza man ピザまん

Yesterday at my school I was talking to one of my friends and I notice she was eating some kind of bun. I asked her what it was and she told me it was a ピザまん. A ピザまん
is bun that has all the same ingredients a pizza has (I think)but in a bun lol. I bought one at the family mart and luckily I got the last one. It was delicious and weird at the same time. The crazy part is it only cost 100yen(1$) Why can’t the USA have stuff like this ? J

Shibuya ^^!

It has been 3weeks since I’ve arrived in Japan and I still can’t believe that I’m actually here! It still feels like a dream to me, A dream I don’t want to wake up from. So far I have met so many amazing people and seen so many amazing things in Japan. In these last 3weeks I have went to Shinjuku,Akihabara,Harajuku and Shibuya. I still have so many places I still need to explore ^^.

Yesterday me and some of my awesome dorm mates went to Shibuya after school to go shopping . One of my favorite stores there is Shibuya 109 !! Shibuya is an all-girl/woman store and they have various of different style of clothes . I always wanted to go to Ank rouge and Liz lisa store so that was the first store I went to lol. Some of my dorm mates wanted to go to the mans store, man 109 ( I think)  so we parted ways and decided to just met another at the dorm.

I think I should of just left when I had the chance because I ended up buying more then I plan to lol.  Every time we want up a new floor it seems the stuff was getting cutier and cutier by the minute I was having a too much cute stuff over load lol. I love Shibuya 109 lol. Can’t wait to go back there.

Here's some pictures from yesterday (*^▽^*)

My shopping bags and a little cute rabbit I won for my mom (*^▽^*)

みなさん、おはようございます!I know I haven't posted in a while but I plan on posting every sunday ( my only day to relax) so for not posting any updates I'm sorry >_< ごめんなさい. Since I started class this week I have been very busy. We had 4 tests this week. One on hiragana, another one on katakana and the other two on vocabs. Plus I had to write a essay from last weeks lecture about Japanese Psychology and religion. Yesterday me and my friends I had culture class and the teacher gave use a lecture about Akihabara and then we actually went there to explore and learn more about Anime and Manga etc etc. On break I was able to go to a game center and win my mother this cute little stuff animal  lol. I was really trying for rilakkuma but after 5 fail attempts , I gave up(╯︵╰,).
Akihabara had soooo many places I wanted to explore but since it was a class trip I wasn't able to do that, but I plan on going back next week.^^.

Here is some pictures.

かわいいですね。

Since today is Sunday I plan on doing all my laundry and clean up my dorm room and then study and then take it easy the rest of the day.

In Japan!

On Monday I arrived in Japan at 2pm but due to waiting for other students that were also in the program we didn't leave until 6ish >_<. I was so happy when we arrived to the dorms a hour later. The dorm manager and his sister are very nice. also the dorms are pretty roomy!^^ I still haven't even unpacked all my stuff yet. I new when I was going to arrive here that reality was going to kick in, and it has. This morning I experience  rush hour on the subway. It was crazy! I seriously feel claustrophobic now loll. Took the placement test today and find out I will be starting in level one. I already new I was going to be place in level 1 so I'm ok with that! I'm here to learn^^. went on a tour to Shinjuku it was so so. I don't think the guy showed use much....soooo yeah lol. (yawn) I'm sooo tried. off to bed. good night !

Getting ready!

This week has been a real roller coaster! Ended up catching a horrible cold on monday. I already new on sunday I was going to wake up sick on monday because my throat had this weird dry feeling and plus I got caught in the rain on saturday >_<. The crazy part is I rarely get sick, but when I get sick, I get sick!!!. So I'm trying to get better before I head off to Japan next week^^. It still hasn't real hit me yet that "Hey you're about to go to Japan, A place you always dreamed of going, and to study abroad" I think it will hit me when I get there. Went shopping and bought some supplies I think I will need when I'm there and a couple of sweaters and some new luggage. Now the real work starts, having to pack everything I plan on taking with me.

Japan here I come! ^^

First post

When I received the email from kcp international that I got accepted to study abroad in Japan, I couldn't believe it! I was so excited , thrilled and kind of in belief. Since almost everything I been wanting to do to scoped my future has been 1.So close to my reach but wasn't close enough for me to grab it. 2. Didn't go as a hoped for and being disappointed over and over again. But this year so far my life in 2013 has been heading in the right direction. It was a long process but it was worth it ! In couple more weeks I will be stepping off the airplane and looking at the sign saying 日本へようこそ!(welcome to Japan) ^^
